# Loudness Measurement

#### Applicability

This description applies to the Stereo, Surround, and Immersive versions of the Loudness Measurement module.

#### Overview

Loudness Measurement is a module for measuring loudness and true peak values of program, monitor, or output paths. It is used for monitoring loudness distribution before or after processing stages.

#### Processing Principle

The module measures loudness over time and provides controls for running, pausing, and resetting the measurement state and its maximum values.
