Bass Management
Applicability
This description applies to the Surround and Immersive version of the Bass Management module.
Overview
Bass Management is a module for managing low-frequency content in an immersive monitoring setup. It can route low-frequency components from main channels to a subwoofer path and can also control how LFE content is filtered and reproduced.
Processing Principle
The module applies crossover filters to selected channels and controls how signal components are mixed into or out of the subwoofer path. The grouping parameter determines how channel controls are linked or separated.
