Dolby® ED2 Decoder with S-ADM output

Overview

The Dolby® ED2 Decoder is a Processor for decoding Dolby ED2 input signals into audio that can be used by downstream processing, monitoring, or routing stages.

The Processor is intended for broadcast and immersive audio workflows where Dolby ED2 content must be decoded before further processing.

  • Dolby ED2 decoding

  • Immersive audio ingest workflows

  • Broadcast contribution signal decoding

  • Preparation of decoded audio for monitoring or further processing

The Processor includes the following processing and measurement stages:

  • Dolby E Decoder

  • Output Meter

The signal flow is:

Input → Dolby E Decoder → Output Meter → Output
