Dolby® E Decoder
Applicability
This description applies to the Dolby® E decoding module used by the Dolby E Decoder and Dolby E Decoder + S-ADM Processors.
Overview
Dolby E Decoder is a module for decoding Dolby E encoded input signals into decoded PCM audio for downstream routing, processing, or rendering.
Processing Principle
The module decodes the incoming encoded signal to PCM audio. The version with an S-ADM output exposes program-related metadata information according to the configured program mapping and metadata settings and makes it available in the flexAI routing for further modification or transport.
